Being in college and being bored most of the time, I'm sitting in front of my computer wondering what to do. That's when the familiar key strokes of g-o-o-g-l-e get typed into the address bar. But Google isn't what I use. Actually what I mean is I use Google to find what I'm looking for ( I seem like an idiot right now don't I?) Anyway, I usually try to find the many versions of Wikipedia around the net. Yes, there is more than just plain old Wikipedia. Really all you have to do is type in whatever you are searching for and type in Wiki after it. Then you'll hopefully find a special Wiki page just for your topic.Being in college and wanting to seek information that isn't chemistry or history related, I usually type in names of video games or movies for example. Learning about the many stages of Star Wars is a little more interesting than Chemistry homework *cough*cough*. Take the Star Wars Wiki for example. I knew there were graphic novels and other stories dealing with what happend after Darth Vader, but there is a whole other world that I never knew about. When I was on the site, I was clicking on random things I knew nothing about. Like did you know there were Wookiee Jedis? For those of you that don't know, a Wookiee is what Chewbacca is. I was learning (which is a lot to say for me) about something I never dreamed existed.
You can pretty much find anything you're looking for and have a Wiki site attached to it. Looking at these Wiki's has become a pass time of mine. But my time should be concentrated more on homework and studying... eww...
