Some love the crunch of peanuts in their chocolate. Others like the sweet caramel or even the bold peanut butter. But who would expect to find worms and moths in their candy treats? The people of South Korea didn't when they opened some Chinese chocolates. When the wrapper was taken off the candy, some of the people found live worms crawling around in the chocolate. I wonder how many people didn't realize what was in there when they took a giant bite? If I had eaten a live worm in my chocolate, the memory would haunt me forever. What's worse is that other Chinese goods are being questioned for what's in them. Other items from China that we use are things like toothpaste, medicine and other kinds of sweets and candy. Are there going to be bugs crawling around in those too? Jsut think if you're brushing your teeth and all teh sudden you feel something crawling around in your mouth. You look to see small worms slithering through your teeth. You know what I'm going to do now? Check where my toothpaste came from before I brush my teeth tonight.

Forbes reprints a Associated Press story with a head line of "Kroger Switches to Hormone-Free Milk". However the first sentence reads: "One of the nation's largest retail grocery chains has announced plans to switch to milk free of synthetic hormones."Now, I don't think anyone could argue against this move (well, the Monsanto company that makes the synthetic hormones does) as it is crazy to eat all this synthetic junk even if the FDA says it is A-OK. It would be nice to know if the new Kroger milk has any abudance of natural hormones? Read more: Hormone or Synthetic Hormone Free Milk?
