College. Fraternities. The two words just go hand in hand. But how do frats attract newcomers? Simple. Do something that many people like to do. Destroy each other and laugh at their beaten friends. What am I talking about? The answer is simple as three little words: Super Smash Brothers.For those of you who don't know, Super Smash Brothers is a Nintendo game that pits their most iconic characters against each other in an all out death match. And this is how one frat on my campus attracted me. They held a Super Smash tourney in the student center. Maybe about 30 people showed up and half of them signed up for more information.
I didn't play though and I didn't sign up. I just went and watched because my two friends were playing in it.
But that's one way to attract new inductees.
