Using Windows Movie Maker, this is what my friends and I did. It is the Council of Elrond scene from Lord of the Rings, with a calculus twist. The characters are talking about a way to solve the 'integral of Mordor' and whose method is best. I know some parts are fuzzy during the audio; that's because the mic was on a high sensitivity. So please enjoy, and comment if you liked it. And if you didn't, well don't go spouting off how horrible it was.

I can't believe that where I live, I can't get the modern conveniences of today. One thing I can't get is cable. Everyone around me gets cable, but I don't! And its just my little stretch of road too. The road next to mine, which is maybe 100 yards away, gets cable. So my family and I had to settle for DirecTV, which isn't a bad thing.
The cable part I don't understand. We also don't get high speed internet, only dial-up. That's understandable. But when you're getting that slow of connections, its hard to do anything. Say I want to play a flash game. While the game loads, I may as well go a bake a cake, that's how much time it takes. But now we're getting DSL connections out at my house, so hopefully I can get my hands on that convenience.
Ever catch yourself flicking through the channels and finding a B-rate movie? Then you stop to watch it and find yourself laughing even though the movie is serious? I have to apologize to the SciFi channel, but that's what their 'original movies' do to me. I'm laughing as some person is gored to death.
Its not my fault that most of these movies employ a cheap monster to be the enemy. Some creature that looks like poor 3D graphics isn't going to scare me. I can't remember which one I was watching a while ago, but the creature just made me laugh. It was supposed to be the minotaur or something and its appearance made me chuckle.
Even the actors are poorly picked. No offense to them, but you can't have some supermodel playing the gas attendant. It just doesn't work that way. Also, the movies have no character development. The main hero is always the one who is most equipped for the job. For example, you'll have the former Navy SEAL fighting against the monster in the lake. And that's how it is in every movie.
So next time you want to laugh at some B-rate movie, look to the SciFi channel's movies.

A friend of mine just told me that 'Rock Band' will be coming out for the Wii console sometime this summer. So I just had to look into this. Its true, and the drumset is even white to match the Wii console. But there are some drawbacks to this. First, the character creation option won't be there anymore. That makes me sad because that was one of my favorite parts. Also the online capabilities are questionable. Harmonix, the makers of 'Rock Band', haven't announced any online stores or tracks yet.
Even though some of the extra features may be cut out, this could still end up being a good buy. I like the 'Rock Band' game and so do many others. So having a set at my house instead of always going over to others' homes would be better for me.
Many friends of mine have been telling me to buy the new Mario Kart game for the Nintendo Wii system. I may just have to do that. You get a steering wheel add-on for your Wii remote free with the game when you buy it. So you're now actually steering your kart on screen. Maybe I should take into consideration that I should buy this game.
What I want to see though, is the invention of a Wii suit. It would sort of be like a motion capture suit, but it would be like a remote for the Wii. So when you're playing Mortal Kombat, or something along those lines, you can actually be beating up the computer player. Plus that would get a lot of kids up and exercising as well.
Wow, an event around 2 o'clock today really madde my day. It was announced over the loudspeaker at the Kickapoo Area High School the names of the people on prom court. Thinking nothing of it, I zoned out until I heard my name. At first I was stunned, but then it quickly turned into an ecstatic feeling. Even though KAHS only has about 35 students in the graduating class, it still made me feel very honored. How many people do you know that were on theire high school's prom court? I can't say how many you know, but I do know that you read all of this and really don't care that I made it onto court.
