One of the items that were all the rage for Christmas and holiday shopping this year was the GPS systems. Very useful for finding your way to uncharted areas in your mind. Well, I got a Garmin this year for a gift, and it has worked very efficiently. I even named it Tiffany because of the female voice telling me to go right or left. Giving your GPS a name helps in many ways. When you're driving by yourself, you can talk to your "Tiffany" just like Tom Hanks talked to Wilson in 'Castaway'. Giving a name also lets you vent your anger onto this machine, sort of like "I Don't Want to go THAT way Tiffany!!" Ever heard the phrase "Hey you kids, get of my lawn!!!"? I'm sure you have heard too many times in your life, whether it be from TV or from the old guy down the street. But did that old guy down the street ever strike back at you when you trespassed? Well, I read a rather funny article just now saying a Minnesota man didn't want those kids on his lawn anymore. These kids had already toilet papered his house before, and now this man wanted revenge. So instead of waiting outside on the front step to tell the kids to move along, he took some drastic measures. Name of your website?HEALTHYCITIZENS Your name? Richard Perlman Your Location (city, etc) Chevy Chase Please give us a short summary of your website? I research post World War II involuntary human experiomentation, in particular programs concerning the cerebral cortex. I argue the government was aware of the likelihood of obesity, diabetes, mental health epidemics decades ago. They were also aware of the liklihood of terrorist attacks. e.g. sarin, anthrax etc. Some of the anti-terrorism policies evolved from the programs I address. e.g.monitoring, interrogation, nonlethal weapons Read more: HEALTHYCITIZENS Interview [click] Tags: involuntary human experimentation • activist • research • web interview • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

Well, I just had an eventful night. Let's just say the college life and Thursday nights go well together. Well, not for me anyway. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, Thursdays are unofficially called 'Thirsty Thurdays' because of the all the parties going on. But why Thursday? Because everyone goes home on Friday. Anyway, I was staying at my girlfriend's apartment for the night, and both of us have to be on campus for 8 am classes, so no Thirsty Thursday festivities for us. But some people in her apartment complex DO celebrate.Read more: Are You Kidding Me? Fire Drills Again? Being in college and being bored most of the time, I'm sitting in front of my computer wondering what to do. That's when the familiar key strokes of g-o-o-g-l-e get typed into the address bar. But Google isn't what I use. Actually what I mean is I use Google to find what I'm looking for ( I seem like an idiot right now don't I?) Anyway, I usually try to find the many versions of Wikipedia around the net. Yes, there is more than just plain old Wikipedia. Really all you have to do is type in whatever you are searching for and type in Wiki after it. Then you'll hopefully find a special Wiki page just for your topic.Read more: Learning With Wiki's [click] Tags: wikipedia • google • star wars • college homework • 0 Comments. - Permalink |
