You know what? I was excited to watch the new movie "I Am Legend" later tonight. So I brought up a trailer on Youtube to increase the excitement. After I had watched it, I scrolled down through the comments. Shouldn't have done that. Some jerks had posted what exactly happens in the movie. Completely ruined it for me. I won't tell anyone what I read because I'm not a jerk. I still want to see the movie. The next day, I'm planning on going to the annual Christmas Dance at our school. I had originally planned to have people at my house beforehand, but that idea seems to have been destroyed. I had asked my mother about it, but I guess she had a Christmas party scheduled that day at our house (which I had no idea about). So now I and all my friends may just be hanging out in my garage eating pizza. But its not that big of a problem. Then on Sunday, I haven't decided yet. Well, today was rather eventful. We have our yearbook class every 5th period on every single day. Today we were in there without a teacher, and I didn't think that was too much of a problem. But it was. You see, our superindentant, Dr. Charicko, came looking for our teacher. She wasn't there. Plus on our yearbook room door, we have one of those knobs that are locked on the outside but not on the inside. Dr. Charicko gripped the knob trying to get in when he found something. He found dried up, crusty hand sanitizer on the knob from three weeks ago. Dr. Charicko was not too happy about that.So when 8th period came along, we found out I and some of my friends were kicked out of the yearbook room for study hall. The only exception was if a teacher was in there with us. This story has no moral but I found it funny. But you probably don't. Tags: school • pranks • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

I was rather curious about Sheeple Magazine, so I typed in one of my articles names into Google. I didn't suprise me that my articles came up in the search engine, but it did suprise me that some of my articles came up with a link other than Sheeple. So I clicked on one about sports and saw my article along with some more professional looking ones. Some of the sites I had never even heard of before. But that's okay. Just seeing all that raised my self esteem about 2 levels. Tags: google • self esteem • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

I don't really know if this blog belongs on Sheeple Magazine, but I feel that its an important matter to discuss. Let's start off with the situation of the New England Patriots. They are on pace to have an undefeated record this year and have a great chance of attaining it. But that's not the part that bothers me. I will admit they have an amazing team this year, but what bothers me is what happens when they win. They run up the score like crazy. They have many lopsided victories with roughly 45 point differences. Let me remind you that this is el futbol americano (for you Spanish illiterates, that is football). Do they not realize that their opposing teams aren't going to beat them? Why continue to score when the other team has no chance? When victories like that occur, many teams put in their second string players. But not the Patriots.I'm not shunning the players because they are phenomenal athletes. Its more like I'm singleing out their coach, Bill Belichick. He's already been caught cheating and now it seems he is trying to prove he can win without his cheating ways. Given the best offense in football, he continually calls pass plays to excel his team down the field to score. That's how he runs up the score. Instead of calling run plays to run down the clock, he does this instead. I knew he was doing this, but it never occured to me until the Patriots played my favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Patriots had the lead during the game and after the score became 24-13, I noticed the offense was still running on all eight cylinders. This puzzled me after their final touchdown which made the score 31-13 (The Patriots still managed to kick another field goal). Why does Belichick feel the need for complete and utter dominance? His image has just sunk into the shadows if you ask me. Its probably that way for a lot of people too. Tags: unsportsmanlike • nfl • cheating • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

I got my first true taste on what Guitar Hero III is like today. With the 8 periods of the day in school, I played it in our yearbook room for 7 of them. How you ask? There were two field trips today, and I was one neither of them. So that meant that hardly anyone were in my classes today. Anyway, I became addicted to the game. You get so addicted because when you start thinking about putting it down for the night, it consumes you. But what's wrong with that? It could be the most fun I've had in awhile. But now I can't be so sure I'll get it for Christmas. I have a Wii, and all the versions of Guitar Hero III were recalled because of a sound problem (which is critical because the game boasts so many different songs. It just wouldn't be the same if I was just tapping buttons with no sound.). Anyway I hope all goes well and its under my Christmas tree this year. My one wish this winter has slowly begun. After school let out today, a snow ball fight ensued in the student parking lot. As soon as I came out of the building, I rushed to my car to take cover. That's when it all began. Getting my gloves on, I pelted foe after foe with the pristine white balls with splotches of brown in them. No one could hit me, I have cat like reflexes. Until two people decided to leave. Two of my friends, CJ and Burt ran to Burt's car to make a fast getaway. I couldn't let that happen. So running briskly yet carefully through the snow, I tailed the car. The window on CJ's side was open for some stange reason. So I threw a snowball at the opening, and it went right through (I was amazed at myself). It was then that they drove over to my car. But by that time I had fled clear across the parking lot. My other two friends, Rick and Mack, were standing by the car. I yelled get into the car, but they just don't listen. So I watched Burt put about a pound of snow in my driver's seat and then saw Rick laughing and pointing at me. It was then that my second chance arose. I ran to my car and told Rick and Mack to get in. Rick listens, but Mack doesn't. As Burt and CJ drove away, I saw that CJ's window was still open. My second snowball went through and smacked CJ in the shoulder, maybe the face. I run into my car, Rick's in but Mack isn't. Mack is about to get in when CJ opens the back door of my car and slams a snowball right into my eye. Now I believe I'm going to develop a black eye. What's the moral here? When someone says get in the car, don't act dumb and meander outside the car, especially if that person is taking you home. Tags: snow • high school • wounds • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

Let's start off with this. There is a thing in this world known as the dreaded Senior Research Paper. In case you don't know, you must support a thesis of your own design within the paper. I completed my rough draft, but for others, it didn't go so well. For instance, there was one student in my class. His name was Donald Humford, and he loved trying to be funny. Many things he just tried to spat out in class, but many of those things weren't funny at all. They were just stupid, just something that wasted more time. We all know people like that, don't we?Anyway, Don didn't realize that for the Research Paper, he actually had to crack down and be serious. You must take the entire project seriously or else you risk the chance of not graduating high school. Don still wanted to make people laugh. He ranted on about God knows what in his paper. It nowhere near supported any part of his thesis. So when he got it back from our teacher, bad things began to happen. Our teacher told him straight up about how much he screwed up the project. She then simply told him he may not grduate if he didn't take it seriously, which is the point of the entire project. You need an interview within your paper, so he thought it would be funny to interview his mom. Bad choice. Our teacher told him that you can't do that and that he should have known not to do that. So Don begins to throw a bit of a temper tantrum. No one person in the class knew what Don was doing until he started banging on the desk. We all thought he was going on with his stupid antics once again. But when he ripped up his paper, every soul knew what was up. By that point, we were all just snickering at him. He knew he had to be more serious, but he took the wrong road. Now Don is going on about how much he hates our teacher. That just makes it even more funny when he doesn't graduate. I think we all knew he was going to screw up badly. He didn't even take the time to do research with the time alloted to us during class. So take my advice, take the important things in your life with the most serious approach you can. Tags: senior research paper • high school • failing • 1 Comments. - Permalink |

Every Wednesday evening, I and many of my friends go to the wing night at the local bar. I especially love the all you can eat wing buffet. Today though, a problem has presented itself. I'm broke. Well, not really. The money I have will either go to gas or my stomach. Since I need to go quite a ways to get home, I need to choose the gas option. Oh, by the way, gas prices are absurd nowadays. $20 used to fill up my car. Now that only gets me roughly half a tank. Anyways, lets get back to my dinner options.I have hereby started the Jamin Greensbury Wing Night Fund. By doing this (And if I do it correctly) I may never have to pay for wing night ever again. This fund will comprise of me trying to bum money off other people, if you couldn't guess already. Maybe I'll eat, maybe I won't. Either way I'm hungry. Now that the winter wonderland is upon us, what images come to your head? Snowmen, Christmas trees, Holiday lights? Since the my world is covered in snow, I wanted to take advantage of it. I want to go sled riding. So today I asked around and no one could go with me. This made me sad because I really wanted to go. If I had gone, I wouldn't be retelling this sad story. Plus I can't go by myself, because it would be a zero on the fun meter. You know what else I want to do? Have the biggest snowball fight ever. I can't have fights with my family because they say I throw too hard. The only person I can hit is my dad and I don't want to do that. Why? He'll hit me back twice as hard because he played quarterback for his flag football team for roughly 15 years. So my idea is get people I really do want to hit nd go ahead and let them have it.
