Forbes reprints a Associated Press story with a head line of "Kroger Switches to Hormone-Free Milk". However the first sentence reads: "One of the nation's largest retail grocery chains has announced plans to switch to milk free of synthetic hormones."Now, I don't think anyone could argue against this move (well, the Monsanto company that makes the synthetic hormones does) as it is crazy to eat all this synthetic junk even if the FDA says it is A-OK. It would be nice to know if the new Kroger milk has any abudance of natural hormones?
I have a bigger problem with milk. Cows milk seems designed by nature for one purple to offer nutrition for baby cows and to bulk them up into big cows. A mothers milk is designed to be the perfect food and nutrition for her babies.
That is why our babbies should drink their mothers milk and not the milk from a cow. Once we're no longer a baby, why do we have such a complusion to drink the milk of a cow? Do we grow up from being human babies into being baby cows? I don't think so.
Well, maybe after reading all the articles about how fat the people of the United States are becoming, it could be that we are baby cows and need a few more cups of cow milk everyday so we can grow up to be BIG COWS.
