I made it onto Prom Court (high school)

Posted by Jamin Greensbury: (high school) Wow, an event around 2 o'clock today really madde my day. It was announced over the loudspeaker at the Kickapoo Area High School the names of the people on prom court. Thinking nothing of it, I zoned out until I heard my name. At first I was stunned, but then it quickly turned into an ecstatic feeling. Even though KAHS only has about 35
Tags: prom, high school.
My Practice Presentation (high school)

Posted by Jamin Greensbury: (high school) Today after school, I had to give my graduation project practice presentation. I had been dreading it because I thought that mine wouldn't be long enough (you need at least 8 minutes to pass). Turned out my fears didn't have anything to back them up. Mine was well over 8 minutes and I still needed to add more to my presentation. Stupid me
Tags: graduation project, presentations.
A True Man s Sport (high school)

Posted by Jamin Greensbury: (high school) An adrenaline pumping sport; that's probably all I need to say. The game of Dodgeball is the sport of all sports. What can beat hurling balls at other players with no remorse Anyways, I've been playing the sport lately, and it is growing on me once again. But at the KAHS high school, we don't play in the gymnasium, we play in the wrestling
Tags: dodgeball, high school. Comments: 0.

What Did I Get Myself Into (high school)

Posted by Jamin Greensbury: (high school) There has been one thought going through my mind today, and I don't know whether its good or bad. You see, I was somehow chosen to represent the senior guys in a dance-off at our annual Winter Sports Rally. Other people knew I was doing this, but somehow I didn't. Now I have a month to prepare for a possible 4 different dance routines. What am
Tags: high school, dance routines. Comments: 0.

My Wish Came True (high school)

Posted by Jamin Greensbury: (high school) My one wish this winter has slowly begun. After school let out today, a snow ball fight ensued in the student parking lot. As soon as I came out of the building, I rushed to my car to take cover. That's when it all began. Getting my gloves on, I pelted foe after foe with the pristine white balls with splotches of brown in them. No one could
Tags: snow, high school.
Time To Crack Down (high school)

Posted by Jamin Greensbury: (high school) Let's start off with this. There is a thing in this world known as the dreaded Senior Research Paper. In case you don't know, you must support a thesis of your own design within the paper. I completed my rough draft, but for others, it didn't go so well. For instance, there was one student in my class. His name was Donald Humford, and he
Tags: senior research paper, high school.
Making Fun Of Your Own School s Team (high school)

Posted by Jamin Greensbury: (high school) Remember the good old days of cheering at your high school's football game. You're just in the stands watching your classmates duke it out on the field. Now let's revert back to modern times and see the same situation. Over in Columbus, Ohio, the students there are very loyal to their schools. At least some students are willing to make other
Tags: football, high school. Comments: 0.
