I won't lie to you, I am an avid viewer of the new American Gladiators. So if any of you are familiar, the finale was on last night. It was a two hour special, the first hour being the last of the semifinals and the second being the actual final. I watched the first hour, waiting for the second, more anticipated hour. But I wouldn't get to see that last hour.I was primed and ready to go, popcorn in hand for the finale. That's when not even five minutes into the episode, the satellite feed goes out.
It was then I screamed, "NOOO!"
I have DirecTV at my home. We get a local feed for all the stations such as NBC, CBS, ABC, etc. Every other channel besides the local channels was working just fine.
So I was watching a blank screen for about 20 minutes until a message came up. The message made me aware this wasn't DirecTV's fault and they were doing everything to fix the problem. Then after about another 20 minutes, a message came up saying to switch to the national NBC channel. That was awesome, because I don't even get the channel and DirecTV provided it for free for the time it took the local feed to be fixed.
So I tuned into the last 10 minutes of Gladiators and saw one of the contestants was bruised and battered. Why couldn't I have seen how?!?
